more than motivation...this is a wake-up call!
When TC steps on stage, he doesn’t just give a speech—he delivers a spark. Drawing from decades of real-world leadership, public service, and a few unforgettable missteps, TC engages audiences with humor, humility, and hard-earned wisdom. Your team will leave laughing, thinking, and most importantly—ready to lead differently.
TC has been a successful Deputy Chief of Police, State Representative, serial entrepreneur, COO, consultant, and is presently the CEO of a non-profit business that coordinates economic development, traditional chamber services and a small business incubator and accelerator. So basically, he’s led everything but a conga line (though he's not ruling it out). TC is the kind of leader who’s learned the hard way, laughed through the mess, and lived to tell the story—with a microphone in hand. From the board room to the back alley, break room to the ballot box, TC's unique perspective and track record of success speaks to his leadership styles which is as practical as they are punchy.
If you are looking for a speaker that has lived it, led it, and can laugh about it, TC's your guy. He will leave your event attendees thinking differently, laughing unexpectedly, and remembering that leadership, and life, are not about titles - it's about the legacy that is left behind.
TC is a husband of over twenty years and has three children. His hobbies include woodworking and traveling as he and his wife have owned a successful travel agency since 2012. While TC loves to spend time on the golf course, he is the first to admit that "playing golf" is not an accurate description of what he does. Most frequent descriptors TC uses to accurately depict his activity of the course are "tragic", "abomination", and "Shankageddon."
When he is not working, TC retreats to the water as he is an avid cruiser. "Water has always provided a calming influence for me. While cruising we get to meet really interesting people from around the world and see entirely different perspectives than our own. In addition to education, traveling continues to strengthen our family's appreciation for our own country and many blessings."
Perfect for breakout sessions or leadership tracks, TC brings energy, humor, and takeaway tools your audience can put to work immediately.
Looking for deeper engagement? TC’s interactive workshops offer hands-on leadership growth and team breakthroughs your group will be talking about long after the session ends.
When you're ready to dive deep, TC delivers a full-day experience that blends insight, strategy, and just enough laughter to keep your team leaning in—not checking out.
Looking to immerse your organization in transformative exercises, powerful training, and revised outlooks? These multi day sessions can truly change your office paradigm.
Some trainings must be done electronically and TC is adept and enjoys bringing concepts to others in a digital format. Please inquire if you have an event you may be interested in TC assisting with.

TC Clements takes a collaborative approach to working with clients, focusing on their unique needs and first ensuring that his area of expertise is a match for both the subject matter and the event.
TC is adamant that if you are going to do something, do it right. Part of the pre-planning with TC will include a review of the type of venue, audio / video needs and options available, and other logistical considerations. It is preferred to have a remote hand held slide advance and a wireless microphone when possible. Both of these can be discussed and resolved at the time of booking.
TC does not place travel expenses in his speaking fees. All related expenses will need to be covered by the organization hiring TC. TC most frequently air gateway of Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and Toledo Express Airport if that presents more viable flight options. If overnight travel is involved, the hotel expense will be paid by the organization. Typically, Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express, etc. are most appreciated.
To ensure a seamless delivery of a speech or program, TC will email an advance copy of his presentation several days before the event. When received, it is requested that it be downloaded to the device from which the presentation will be given. If this is not possible, and a jump drive must be used, it is requested that the entire presentation be loaded, and presented slide by slide in advance of the actual presentation to prevent any unforeseen lag, or delay in the operation of the power point.
Provided logistics do not pose significant hurdles, TC will always have copies of his book available for purchase when speaking. If quantities are insufficient, pre-orders can be made or guests can be directed online for the purchase.
If you are interested in having TC available to sign any books at your event please be sure to include this in initial planning and discussions. This may have implications on time, travel schedules, etc. TC is always happy to talk offline with guests so we only need to be sure our understanding of your needs are clear.
TC is a very real, vulnerable, humble yet dynamic speaker. He avoids buzzwords and actively works to encourage, excite, and entertain those he has the chance to present to. TC also strives to be a perfectionist so know that he will give it his all to ensure that each event is tailored to the audience, robust in content, and original in thought. TC's stories from from those while he was in gang intelligence to difficult board room decisions. He is not embarrassed to share his own funny mistakes as to help others avoid them.

The Legacy of Leadership: It’s the Small Things — a brutally honest, deeply human, and unexpectedly funny guide to leadership that lasts.
Forget corporate fluff. This isn’t another manual written from a mountaintop. It’s a roadmap from the trenches—where trust is earned, culture is built one moment at a time, and leadership isn’t about ego, but example.
TC Clements brings a voice that blends lessons from experience in the boardroom, back alley, breakroom, and ballot box. Real leadership isn't the big decisions. It lives in the quiet moments. The overlooked choices. The small things.
